Largest Physiatry Practice in the Southeast adds New Physician
12/16/2009 Carolinas Rehabilitation welcomes our new physiatrist, Dr. Judi Tassone.
Dr. Tassone received her medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Wayne State University-Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and electrodiagnostic medicine and is a member of the American Medical Directors Association.
Dr. Tassone's clinical special interests include
Diagnosing and treating problems of the musculoskeletal system
EMG testing of the muscles and nerves
Treatment of muscle pain or fibromyalgia
Evaluation of walking difficulty due to pain, impaired balance or weakness
Geriatric rehabilitation
Hospice and palliative care.
Dr. Tassone is a native of Hammonton, New Jersey. In her free time, she enjoys ballet, sailing, birdwatching, ballroom dancing and spending time with her family.
She will be treating patients at our musculoskeletal practice, Carolinas Back and Sports Specialists, with locations throughout Charlotte. Join us in welcoming Dr. Judi Tassone!
