Get ready for the 11th annual Cycle to the Sea!
01/13/2010 The Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program (ASAP) at Carolinas Rehabilitation is hosting its 11th annual Cycle to the Sea! Held every spring, it involves athletes with physical disabilities who cycle from Charlotte to North Myrtle Beach, S.C. (about 180 miles) on handcycles or tandem bikes.
Each rider must obtain individual pledges to participate. This event is one of the main fundraisers for ASAP and allows us to continue to offer a variety of low-cost programs for youth and adults with physical challenges in our community and surrounding area.
